A Shot of Insight Sourcing

Insights. Everyone wants them, but few people seem to be able to find them. They can
be more elusive than Big Foot. What is this rare creature? And why the big fuss? In this
session, find out why insights are so highly valued, learn how to identify insights, and
differentiate them from their close cousins – information, and how to track them down.

Module 1: Insight vs Information

Insights are easily confused with information and statistics. It is a fine line that divides the two. In this session you’ll understand the difference and start learning to differentiate between them. With practice, you’ll never be confused again.

Module 2: Where insights hide

To find insights, we must first know where they are hiding. Like any hunter, the better you understand the habitat and behaviour of your prey, the likelier you’ll be able to catch them. In this module we will introduce different tactics that can be used to draw insights out from their hidey holes so that you can finally pin them down.

Module 3: Insights that Hide in Plain Sight

The most elusive of insights can sometimes be the most obvious ones. Learn what to look out for, and how to pay special attention to the world around you. You’ll be surprised at how much you can see.
